Tatum CGC TKA

Tate was let go peacefully in November of 2023 due to his escalating discomfort and pain from a genetic spine condition. We miss him incredibly and he left a huge legacy for future service dogs to live up to.

Tate is a male Border collie born in 2019. He was Kiri's psychiatric service dog to assist with her severe anxiety, PTSD, clincal depression and other disabilities. Some of his tasks include crowd control, anxiety alerts and descalation responses, waking her up from a deep sleep when an alarm goes off, medication reminders and deep pressure therapy. He  underwent over 18 months of training and excelled with every challenge he faced. He retired from service work in February 2022.

Tate enjoys learning new things and being close to his handler, as well as adventures, hiking, playing frisbee and swimming.
